I've added a new thing to my list of stuff I just have to do. I want to go on a test ride for the Bendix rollover protection system at their testing ground.
I know this sort of technology will never replace a well-trained professional driver. But, fact of the matter is, bad things happen to good people -- including professional drivers. And if they can't flip a truck on its lid trying, if it were my life on the line everyday around nitwit four-wheelers, I think I'd be looking into spec'ing it. As far as the test drive, I'm just in that for the thrill.
